We love to talk about our favorite
foods. Who doesn't? But how do we know who likes which foods? We
became pollsters, data collectors and bar graph makers. Each student
chose a favorite food, asked classmates whether they liked, disliked,
or felt ambiguous towards each food. (OK, each child asked “Do you
like such and such food; yes, no or other,” but it's the same idea,
right ?!) Once the data was collected, each student made a bar graph
depicting class opinions towards each food. The data collection
sheets and graphs came home in yesterday's folders. I am so proud of
our pollsters!
